SNL Mocks Obama with Fake Ad for ‘Second-Term Strength’ Paxil

In last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Lady Gaga, the show aired a spoof commercial for a specially-developed version of the popular anti-depressant Paxil: all-new “Second-Term Strength” Paxil.

The product, with a key demographic of only one person, is aimed squarely at President Obama, who may, the mock ad suggests, be suffering from what is known as “Presidential Depression.”

The purpose of “Second-Term Strength” Paxil is to help the President cope with the difficulties surrounding his administration during its sophomore term: quagmires such as the Benghazi scandal, the NSA scandal, the IRS scandal, the AP scandal, the Petraus scandal, “that time Jay-Z and Beyonce went to Cuba,” and, of course, the Obamacare website problems.

Paxil, the fake ad claims, is the only anti-depressant strong enough to get Obama back on his feet and running the country again.

The ad further states:

With Paxil, you’ll feel like you’re giving a speech at a college campus in 2008. Or getting bin Laden, all over again.

Just what the doctor ordered.

However, as with any prescription drug, President Obama should use caution when taking “Second-Term Strength” Paxil. The parody commercial gives our Commander-in-Chief the following warning:

Paxil is not covered by Obamacare. We promised that it would be, but it’s not. And for that, we apologize.
