Today, the White House held its annual Easter Egg Roll event on the South Lawn of the Presidential residence. President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama were in attendance, along with 30,000 other people, many of whom were children anxious to participate in the day’s festivities.
The President officiated the egg roll contest, watching over youngsters as they pushed colorful Easter eggs with wooden spoons across the White House lawn, all trying to be the first to cross the finish line.
Obama also participated in story time with the kids, reading to them from the beloved children’s tale Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.
Many photographs were taken at the White House Easter Egg Roll event today. We grabbed a few and decided to make Easter memes out of them, and we shared a few memes made by others as well.
Hope you enjoy!
